The cuisine, which is expensive but first-rate, features veal, chicken and lamb, all prepared to be juicy and tender. Earthy ingredients characterize the entrees, and items like cilantro and corn tortillas impart some with a southwestern flair. Herbs and spices, in general, add layers of flavor, even to the pasta dishes. Rich desserts and a substantial wine list complete the meal on a number of fronts. Reservations accepted. DOWNTOWN. A happening place, Dexter's is a great choice for lunch, dinner or after work drinks. Boasting a great happy hour, this restaurant offers tasty appetizers, beer on tap or by the bottle and wine by the glass or the bottle. The diverse menu features dishes that include White Spinach Lasagna and Applewood Smoked Salmon Fettucine, and a malted waffle station and omelette construction center are available for weekend brunch.
